Songwriting is well established as one of the main pillars of music therapy practice in the UK. This one-day workshop will be an opportunity to explore the process in more depth and to develop skills in both one-to-one and group work. There will be a focus on practical and transferable skills and the application of therapeutic songwriting approaches in a wide range of contexts and settings including Community Mental Health, Special Education, Palliative and Residential care. Neurologic Music Therapy® (NMT™) Training Institute in Birmingham, England

The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy® is excited to announce that it will be providing a Neurologic Music Therapy® (NMT™) Training Institute in Birmingham, England this summer! This training will provide participants with clinical training and scientific knowledge to practice within the NMT™ system within their professional scope of practice in two parts. Part 1: From June 24th- July 24th, participants will have access to 20 hours of online asynchronous training modules. Part 2: From July 24th-July 26th, participants will attend 16.5 hours of in-person practice sessions in Birmingham, England. All materials and presentations will be in English.
