Looking for a Music Therapist to join your team?

As the professional body for Music Therapists in the UK, BAMT is able to advise on issues relating to the successful setting up of posts of all levels and the recruitment of Music Therapists.  Advice is available on appropriate terms and conditions of employment in a variety of work areas including the NHS, Education and Charitable sectors.  If you are interested in setting up a post for a Music Therapist in your service, please contact the BAMT Office.

All practising Music Therapists in the UK are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and uphold the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics, supported by the Guide to Professional Practice produced by BAMT.

BAMT JOB ADVERTISEMENTS FREE 

The trustees of BAMT are pleased to announce a change in the advertising of Music Therapy posts. There will be no fee for advertisements .

This decision has been made in response to concerns about posts not being advertised beyond the local area due to costs. It is hoped that it will lead to an increase in the volume of posts advertised and more equal access to work for our members.

In addition, in future members will receive an email alert when a new job is advertised, with a link to the job advert on the website. Current jobs will continue to be listed in the monthly bulletin.

Please do share this information with colleagues and potential employers.

The current BAMT Recommended Sessional Pay Rate is £40-60 per hour onwards but please see the guidelines on freelance working for further information.
