Returning to Practice

Music Therapists who have been out of practice for more than two years will need to re-register with the HCPC. Re-registration involves undertaking a period of updating your skills and knowledge.

The process for doing this varies depending on the length of time for which you have not been practising.

Please check this pages for further information on Returning to Practice;

Please be aware that you must not use the title ‘Music Therapist’ if you are not registered with the HCPC.

You may however provide details of your Music Therapy training, as long as you are clear that you are not currently registered to practise.
