This full day workshop will consist of both theoretical and practical applications to songwriting, concluding with an opportunity for participants to discuss their own songwriting practice. Participants can choose from three practical sessions led by songwriting specialists from ICMP, focusing on areas where they may feel less confident.
It is suitable for Music Therapists, Music Therapy students, and arts in health practitioners, regardless of their level of experience with songwriting as a therapeutic tool. Whether you are already skilled in using songwriting in therapy sessions or have yet to incorporate it into your practice, you are welcome to attend.
The workshop is led by Professor Sophie Daniels, Head of Songwriting and Programme Leader for the Masters Songwriting, and her tutor team at ICMP.
