An introduction to Music Therapy as a career for those currently working in, or planning to leave, the Armed Forces.
Working as a Music Therapist is a wonderfully diverse and varied career. If you are interested in creativity, healthcare, supporting individuals or groups and helping people of all ages and abilities, it may be the job for you.
At this insight day you will learn who Music Therapists are, what they do, and the different routes you can take to become a Music Therapist.
Music Therapists with an Armed Forces background will share their real-life experience of transitioning from the Armed Forces into the Music Therapist workforce and there will be an opportunity for you to learn which universities run Music Therapist programmes, to find out further information on the university and how you can access these programmes. Graduation from any of these programmes will provide you with a qualification enabling you to practice as a Music Therapist.
