Frameworks & Creative Toolkits for Supervision
Contracting; ethical & legal Issues; stakeholders in supervision; supervisory tasks; mapping the session; show/don’t tell approaches; concretization; supervision through art, movement, song and story. pitching intervention according to developmental need; power and vulnerability in supervision; soulful supervision;

Module Two
Behind the Scenes, Beneath the Words
Unconscious dynamics; Hawkins & Shohet’s 7 eyed model; working with role; shadow in supervision; parallel process; collusion, avoidance and sabotage; internal supervisor; group & organisational dynamics.

Module Three
Professional Integration & Research Area
Clarkson’s systemic integrative relational model for supervision; private practice; supervision by phone, skype, video conferencing; uni-professional and cross-professional issues; The course concludes with each student pursuing an aspect of supervision which interests them and which could make a professional difference.

Training Hours
Taken as a whole (group days, tutorials, practice hours, supervision on supervision, reading, assignments) the training amounts to 232 hours and prepares participants for professional accreditation as supervisors.

Diplomas are awarded by the Institute of Pastoral Supervision & Reflective Practice

Michael Paterson & Stephanie Turner
Michael is a graduate in creative supervision from the London School of Psychodrama and lead trainer for Values-Based Reflective Practice for NHS Scotland. Stephanie is a Dramatherapist and supervisor in NHS forensic service and in private practice. She is registered as a supervisor with the British Association of Dramatherapists.

One Saturday (10-14) per month from September 2017 to October 2018
(No group days in July and August)

£500 per module
