About this event
Event Date: 14 June, 21 June, 28 June, 5 July, 12 July

Time: 7.00-8.00pm

Facilitator Bio: Julie Hoggarth is a brass player and advocate for anti-racism. She is also a director of Drum and Brass CIC and chairs Brass Bands England's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion group.

About the group: Speaking about the book ‘Me & White Supremacy’ Julie said, ‘I have undertaken many brilliant training programmes in the field of inclusion. Sometimes, however, courses can leave us with the feeling that the problems are "somewhere else".

Leila Saad's book "Me and White Supremacy" is a powerful approach to internalising the reality of racism, within a space of openness and truth. You discover more each time you do the 5-week programme, and I very much look forward to taking this journey with BAMT members in June.’

Due to the nature of the group places for this event will be exceptionally limited so do not delay in booking. We are intending on running the course again in the future so please add your details to the waiting list if it is sold out and we will let you know when a new group opens.

Please Note: The book ‘Me & White Supremacy’, is included in the ticket cost.
