PhD Research Studentship – Anglia Ruskin University

Raising quality of care and life in dementia care homes through music therapy: a cluster-randomised controlled trial.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vice Chancellor’s PhD Studentship at Anglia Ruskin University. The successful application will be based at Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, alongside world-leading researchers specialising in music therapy and dementia, stroke, mental health, autism spectrum disorder and music and the brain.

The proposed project is a cluster-randomised trial with a qualitative strand built in investigating why and how music therapy might raise the quality of care and life in the care homes of a large UK care provider.
