BAMT Conference 2018

Music, Diversity and Wholeness

The BAMT Conference 2018 will be held at the Barbican centre, London.

Situated in the heart of the City of London, the Barbican Centre is part of the Barbican Estate, which was built in
the 1960s and 1970s as part of the post-was development of the Cripplegate area. The Barbican Centre, built
between 1971 - 1982, is recognised as one of London's best examples of British brutalist architecture. The
London Symphony Orchestra has been the Resident Orchestra at the Barbican since the centre opened in 1982.
Today, the Barbican is known for being a world-class arts and learning centre, that pushes the boundaries of all
major art forms including dance, film, music, theatre and visual arts.
