Katy Bignold, Trustee 

After working in music administration and then in the NHS, Katy qualified as a music therapist in 2009 from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She worked for three years for Newham Music Trust, before starting work as a freelance music therapist in schools in East London in 2012. Since then, she has set up East London Music Therapy. She has experience of working with children who have a wide range of needs including ASC, speech and language disorders, complex needs, and trauma. 

Katy is a BAMT registered supervisor and has provided clinical placements for music therapy students.
