The Future for Early Years Public Health

The health of a child throughout pregnancy and early life has a significant impact on its wellbeing all the way into adulthood. As a result, and with acute health services facing increasing pressure, the importance of delivering services in the community is growing. In 2015, responsibility for early years public health commissioning was transferred to local authorities and just last year the government continued the mandation of the universal five health visiting checks.

Now is the time to evaluate how you can further integrate services, commission for value and develop your workforce to further improve your early years public health service.

Attend this Westminster Briefing event to gain a comprehensive update on the national landscape for early years public health. Find out where the future lies and learn from other local authorities that are meeting their responsibilities effectively.
