Mindfulness for Performers

This practical evening course has been specifically developed at Guildhall School to support musicians and actors in their lives and creative work by reducing stress. Through meditation and re-connecting with the body, participants can learn how to bring awareness to the present moment and relate differently with stress, anxiety and depression. This 8-week course will explore themes such as stepping out of automatic pilot, working with obstacles including self-criticism and performance anxiety and learn how to cultivate stage presence.
