This online training, organised by Sound Working is open to qualified and student music therapists of all approaches who are interested in developing clinical thinking around the use of verbal interventions within a music therapy context. This is a neglected area of focus within the profession whilst many music therapists are often confronted with the challenges of verbal work and the tensions this can create.
Max Ryz is an experienced psychoanalytically informed music therapist and clinical supervisor who works in the NHS within adult mental health services and private practice. He is one of the lead assessors for the complex care pathway as well as for an arts psychotherapy based MBT program.
