This well-established M-level, 30-credit CPD module is now open for applications for the 2026/27 academic year. The design of the course allows for the option to attend remotely or in person (apart from the 3-day creative weekend in January which is in-person only). International applications are warmly welcomed.
The course delivery, content and assessment actively seek to embody de-colonial and anti-oppressive practice. In order to maintain this ongoing process, the core elements of Black Feminism as foundational are recognised: valuing individual lived experience as an essential criterion of meaning; making use of dialogue to contextualise the individual within a supportive community; expecting personal accountability/congruence in interactions with others; fostering a passionate, caring attitude and encouraging emotional expression of this.
