In-Person VI/MSI Network Event - Tuesday 21st April 2026, 10am – 3pm, Southfields
Are you an Arts Therapist interested in expanding your practice through cross-modal collaboration, discussion and experiential learning?
The Arts Therapists at Linden Lodge School invite Arts Therapists across modalities to join us for an in-person networking event at our school in Southfields. Our team work with children and young people aged 2-19 with Vision Impairment (VI) and Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI), and we are excited to host a day of connecting, shared learning and exploring creative ways of working.
We welcome members of BAAT, BAMT, ADMP and BADTh, including trainees. This event is open to those currently working in this field, as well as those interested in collaborating across modalities and expanding their practice.
This free event will run from 10am – 3pm. Address: 61 Princes Way, Wimbledon Park, SW19 6JB (Southfields closest tube).
Areas of focus will include:
- Use of sensory materials and objects within creative therapy
- Music-making in supporting developmental milestones
- Use of touch and movement to promote relationship building and co-regulation
- Case study presentation – Early Years group music therapy
We would also love to hear from anyone who may like to share something with the group. Please do get in touch with Fiona Woodworth (Music Therapist) at fwoodworth@lindenlodge.org.uk if you have any ideas you would like to discuss.
Interested in attending or finding out more? Please share your details below and further information will follow.
