BAMT Small Grants
for Students and Researchers
The
British Association for Music Therapy is able to make small grants to music
therapy students and researchers to support them in their studies. If you are
currently a student on an HPC approved music therapy training programme, or
undertaking research related to music therapy at a recognized UK HEI, you can
apply for a grant to help with the costs of travel, books or learning
resources, personal therapy or other related expenses.
Applications
can be made at any time of year but grants are allocated from an annual fund,
beginning in April each year. Grants will not normally exceed £300 per
applicant in any one year and cannot be given towards the cost of fees.
To
make an application, please download and complete the BAMT Small Grants
Application Form on the right hand side of this page. You and your Head of Training/Programme Leader or research supervisor
will both need to sign the form.
Once
completed and signed please return your form to BAMT at the address above,
enclosing copies of all receipts. You will receive an acknowledgement by email
when we receive your form and you should hear the outcome of your application
within two months.
BAMT
is grateful for the generosity of donors who have made the Small Grants scheme
possible. Donations towards the scheme, or towards the work of BAMT generally,
are always gratefully received.
