Alison Rowley, Trustee
Alison Rowley has an extensive legal background. A law graduate of Cambridge University, she has nearly 30 years' experience practising as a barrister and in other senior legal positions. She has an ability to understand and cut through "legal jargon" and summarise issues concisely and clearly.
A lifelong passion for music has developed into a deepening interest in music therapy. Alison is a member of BAMT, and hopes to study the MA in Music Therapy on a part-time basis. She plays a number of instruments, is a qualified violin teacher, plays in two orchestras and sings in two choirs, and is heavily involved in music in her local community (including helping in music lessons at her local special school for children with complex learning difficulties).
