Tina Warnock, Trustee and Public Relations Officer
Tina Warnock is Head of Service for the Belltree Music Therapy Centre in Brighton, which she set up in 2008. Previously she worked for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Sutton Hospital, at Downs View Special School in Brighton and as community music therapist at Orchard Hill, Carshalton. Tina qualified from Anglia Ruskin University in 2000.
Public Relations Officer. This post exists to develop the public profile of music therapy as a profession and to co-ordinate liaison with the media. Tasks include passing on enquiries from the media to therapists with relevant expertise; liaising with the members, BAMT trustees, administrative team and a range of external stakeholders with regard to public relations; responding to media coverage of music therapy where necessary and contributing to the development of BAMT literature, to be made available online and in hard copy for the public and for members. There is a vacancy for a further Public Relations Officer to share this role.
